Thai Language study--I'm glad those days are over!
When I first arrived in Thailand checking out all of the beautiful parks.2009 was really a great year. I arrived in Bangkok 1 year ago and it has been an amazing journey. I came here not knowing any Thai and now 1 year later I know and speak some Thai :) I sure hope this year I pick it up a lot faster. I am hoping that just one day it will click and my brain will just know all of this language that I have worked so hard to understand and speak.
I also came here not knowing a single person (American or Thai) and now I have so many amazing friends. I feel very blessed.
The ministry at the University has been amazing. I have watched some students become Christians and grow in their walk and share their faith with others. I have seen students seek to find out more about who God is and what the Bible says.
I am looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me in 2010!! Here are some pictures looking back at 2009-enjoy :)
